El Individuo is one of Havana’s most celebrated rappers who lives in the space between “world music” and the prolific Cuban hip hop scene. He has been a part of international collaborations like Gilles Peterson’s Súbelo Cuba, while continuing to represent his city through forward-looking rap. His live band is composed of players from Havana’s most celebrated jazz and timba groups. His newest EP, '2020 Escribo' dropped at the end of 2020 with INTLBLK.
